City crews working on a couple of improvements may mean slight delays
MADISON – The City of Madison will have crews working on a couple of improvements next week that may mean delays. They will also begin spraying for mosquitoes.
Wall Triana/Sullivan Reflector Work
Crews will begin work on Tuesday, June 4, improving reflectors on Wall Triana/Sullivan from Madison Blvd to Hwy 72. Work is expected to last two days. Expect delays and drive with caution.
Hughes Road Walking Path Improvements
Crews will begin replacing the walking trail on Hughes Rd from Millsford Drive heading north to Gooch Lane. The existing trail will be removed and new one constructed. This will be a rolling work zone; portions that are not being worked will be open. Work will continue for approximately 2-4 months, weather permitting.
Vector Spraying
The City of Madison will begin spraying for mosquitoes beginning June 3 throughout the warm months. Vector spraying will follow the City trash schedule with Friday’s route observed on Thursdays. Spraying will be between 7-10 p.m. weather dependent. Vector spraying will not occur during wind speeds above 10mph or in rain.
