Judge considers granting bond to Skyline murder suspect
HUNTSVILLE – The suspect Madison Police investigators say is believed to be the mastermind behind the Skyline murder could be able to be out on bond soon. It all depends on how Madison County Judge Alison Austin rules in the next few days.
A bond hearing was held Thursday for suspect Hunter Moore. He is charged with capital murder in the stabbing deal of Luke Pratt on May 6 at a residence in the Skyline Acres subdivision.
News partner WAFF 48 reported that Moore’s grandmother spoke to the judge on his behalf. She mentioned he had lived with her for 11 years. She said while she lives alone, she has a bedroom open and is willing to let Moore stay with her if bond is granted.
The grandmother said if Moore lived with her, he would need to go to school and get a job. She said Moore has in the past helped her monitor her diabetes.
Moore’s sister also said she would help with transportation, taking Moore where he needed to go.
Assistant District Attorney Shaun Barnett did not oppose to a bond being granted. She did ask the judge for ankle monitoring and GPS tracking of a bond was granted.
