Photo Gallery: Madison schools honoring veterans this week

MADISON – Schools across Madison are honoring veterans this week on honor walls, special luncheons, school-wide assemblies and other ways.

Student ambassadors at each school in the military-inspired S2S (student-to-student) group took part in welcoming guest veterans along with faculty and PTAs.

MCS thanks veterans, past and present, for their service. Here are a few pics from observances today at Columbia and Horizon elementary, and from West Madison Elementary on Wednesday.

More are planned at other schools tomorrow and into next week.
