Vow for New Year’s resolution to donate blood

MADISON – LifeSouth Community Blood Centers urge individuals to pledge to one New Year’s resolution that will continue to give and help other people in life-threatening emergencies.

“Make a New Year’s resolution to save lives by donating blood with LifeSouth. All blood types are needed more than ever after the holidays,” Eric Franchois said. Franchois work as LifeSouth’s Coordinator of District Community Development.

“If everyone who can donate blood donates at least once a year, there will be no more blood shortages. Please make 2020 your year to save lives,” Franchois said.

Anyone who donates blood through Jan. 6, 2000 will receive a $10 gift card as a thank you for donating.

To find a nearby blood drive or donor center, call 888-795-2707 or visit lifesouth.org and click the “Find a Blood Drive” box. On the new window, type your zip code in the “Zip Code” box, and click “Search.”
