Madison Chamber to host virtual family fun challenge

MADISON – Looking for a great way to make the best out of the current social distancing regulations and still be connected to others? The Madison Chamber of Commerce is hosting a virtual food, family fun challenge on Friday, April 10 at 6:30 p.m.

According to Chamber director Shannon Neblett, people can participate by first picking up dinner. “After you pick up dinner from one of the participating restaurants, enjoy your dinner together, then start your family fun activity,” she said.

“We are asking people to create a dance video and share it to their Facebook page,” Neblett said. “They need to tag the Madison Chamber of Commerce and the restaurant they picked using the hashtag #QuarantineChallenge. The winning family will receive a prize valued at $50.”

The deadline to upload your video by Saturday, April 11, at 6:30 p.m. The top 5 videos will be selected, and the community will pick the winner.

“Remember to be creative, have fun and stay safe. Social distancing is key,” Neblett added.

Also, the Chamber is collecting gift cards for healthcare professionals in our community. People can purchase one while picking up their dinner for family fun night.

The participating restaurants include: Bark & Barrel BBQ, Champy’s, Chick-Fil-A, Earth & Stone Wood Fired Pizza, Las Trojas Cantina, Lawler’s BBQ, Metro Diner, Neon Lily, Old Black Bear, Rick’s Barbecue, The Shrimp Basket, Ted’s Bar-B-Q, Tellini’s and Which Wich Superior Sandwiches.
