Madison Street Festival canceled this year

MADISON – For the first time in many years, the streets in downtown Madison will be silent the first Saturday in October. The Madison Street Festival has been canceled for 2020.

The event is Madison’s premier and largest annual celebration of art, music, arts and crafts, food and entertainment. It is also been a great opportunty to show off Madison’s historic downtown area to visitors.

Organizers say the festival has been canceled due to global health concerns associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We look forward to Madison Street Festival 2021,” said event PR chairperson Debbie Overcash.
