Bolden named assistant principal at Rainbow Elementary School

MADISON – Rainbow Elementary’s leadership team is again complete.

The Madison City Board of Education approved Miranda Bolden as assistant principal at Rainbow. She replaces Savannah Demeester, who was recently named principal at West Madison Elementary.

Bolden and her husband, Jason, were recognized by Superintendent Dr. Ed Nichols and Rainbow Principal Brian Givens at Monday’s BOE meeting.

Bolden earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Athens State University and master’s degree in educational leadership from Samford University in Birmingham.

She taught at Columbia Elementary and Mill Creek Elementary, served as administrator over the MCS EL Summer Camp, and served in the MCS aspiring administrators program at RES.
