Huntsville Restaurant & Hospitality Career Fair set for Aug. 24 at the VBC

HUNTSVILLE – Looking to kickstart your career in hospitality? The Alabama Restaurant & Hospitality Association, in partnership with the Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the Von Braun Center, is hosting a Restaurant & Hospitality Career Fair on Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in North Hall 1 and 2 of the Von Braun Center.

A variety of hospitality sectors will be represented at the event, such as hotels, restaurants, and attractions. Over twenty employers have registered to participate, including the Embassy Suites Hotel & Spa, the Huntsville Ice Sports Center, Rocket City Trash Pandas, Stovehouse, Church Street Family, and the Omega Hotel Group.

Opportunities range from server, host/hostess, cashier, cook, restaurant manager/assistant manager, hotel front desk, housekeeping/room attendant, bartender, sous chef, event sales, valet parking, banquet staff and other positions.

Lunch will be provided to attendees who submit three applications on site, and free parking is available in Lot V (next to North Hall).
