Heavy rain, severe weather expected in Madison as Ida moves into area

MADISON – Ida continues to move inland and will bring some storms to the Madison area today. The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a Flash Flood Watch starting at 1 p.m. today and ending at 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Between 2″ to 4″ of rain is expected with locally higher amounts.
Severe weather possible this afternoon through Tuesday afternoon, with tornadoes possible.
Wind gusts up to 30 mph outside of storms
