Madison City schools closed Tuesday due to Ida

Due to the potential for flash flooding and rapidly developing tornadoes, Madison City Schools said they will cancel school and all school-related events on Tuesday, August 31. All school campuses and facilities will be closed on Tuesday. There will be no virtual learning requirements for Tuesday. At this time, all after school events today (Monday) will continue as planned. School officials said district and school administrators will continuously monitor the weather for any needed changes. Please stay safe and weather-aware.
