UPDATE: Christmas Balloon Glow postponed to Saturday, Dec. 18

Due to the forecast of stormy wet weather and high winds for this Saturday, the Alabama Jubilee Christmas Glow and Food Drive has been postoned to Saturday, Dec. 18, 5:30 – 7 p.m.

Previous information: CHRISTMAS BALLOON GLOW – The Alabama Jubilee Committee and Local Balloon Pilot’s “2nd Christmas Balloon Glow” will take place at Decatur Baptist Church (Modus and Danville Roads) activity area, south of the church building. This is the Jubilee committee and local Balloon Pilots Christmas gift to the local area. This event is weather dependent and is a free event. In the spirit of Christmas, they help those who are less fortunate with a Food Drive. Please donate non-perishable food items, dried goods, dried beans, rice, canned items or boxed items to volunteers at collection drop off points just before and during the glow. All items collected will distributed through Quality of Life to local Soup Kitchens to help feed and meet the need this time of the year.
