The Orion Amphitheater to host a job fair on Saturday

New Amphitheater to bring over 100 new jobs to Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE – Excitement is building for the opening of the Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville’s MidCity district. To get ready for it, Huntsville Venue Group (a division of tvg hospitality), operators of The Orion Amphitheater, is hosting a job fair on Saturday, April 2, 11 am – 5 pm at Lost Highway Lounge at Yellowhammer Brewing. The long-anticipated music venue will open this May and bring over 100 new jobs into Madison County. Job seekers looking to start their careers in hospitality are encouraged to apply.

Box Office Attendants

Bartenders

Stagehands

Ticket Takers

Runners

Ushers & Greeters

Line Cooks

Porters

Job seekers can apply online before attending the job fair via theorionhuntsville.com/jobs. Hiring managers from various departments will be on hand to screen applicants and hold interviews on-site, with some prepared to hire on the spot. Paid training for new employees will be provided.

Under the leadership of tvg hospitality CEO Ben Lovett, serial entrepreneur and multi-award-winning musician from the band Mumford & Sons, The Orion is the latest addition to a growing, worldwide portfolio. tvg hospitality currently operates three venues in London with multiple venues under development in the United States. Future U.S. locations include Washington D.C., Nashville, Austin, Detroit, New York, and Los Angeles.

The Orion is a part of Huntsville Venue Group’s long-term plan to develop third space offerings in Rocket City. Adjacent to The Orion, patrons can visit Apollo South which will host a myriad of community events and evening dining options. Later this summer, Huntsville Venue Group will open Meridian Arts Club at A.M. Booth’s Lumberyard. The 350 capacity music venue will employ an additional 40 Huntsvillians.
