UAH softball team voted No. 7 in NFCA national rankings

HUNTSVILLE – The University of Alabama in Huntsville softball team moved up one spot to No. 7 in the updated NFCA Division II National Rankings this week.

The Chargers are one of three teams from the South Region in the top 10, as Tampa came in against at No. 3 and Valdosta State remained at No. 10. No. 18 Saint Leo and No. 23 Mississippi College also represent the South Region in the NFCA Top 25.

UAH is currently riding a seven-game win streak after topping Lincoln Memorial in both games of a doubleheader on Tuesday, as the squad owns a 23-4 overall record and a 10-1 mark in Gulf South Conference play this season.

The Blue & White look ahead to a three-game GSC series at Charger Park this Saturday and Sunday with a visit from West Georgia.
