“Camp To Amp Festival” returns to Midcity District this Saturday

Second annual festival celebrates community, music, and arts in the Tennessee Valley, will feature five stages and over 20 musical performances

HUNTSVILLE. – MidCity District and Orion Amphitheater are hosting the second annual Camp to Amp Festival, kicking off Saturday, May 13 with live musical performances, vendors, dining, and shopping spread across the District from noon to 6:00 p.m.

MidCity District, Orion Amphitheater, Huntsville Police Department, Huntsville Music Office, City of Huntsville Parks and Recreation and Octo Hospitality bring this free festival back to North Alabama as a way to celebrate music, art and community.

The day-long event connects MidCity District’s The Camp to the Orion Amphitheater where streets will be filled with musicians, artists, local businesses, chefs and more. Last year’s festival saw more than 12,000 visitors to the District with more expected this year.

“MidCity District and our partners are thrilled to gather the community for the second annual Camp to Amp Festival. This year brings more vendors, more food, more stages, more pedestrian-friendly streets, more sponsors and a bigger audience,” said Lindsey Pattillo Keane, Executive Director of MidCity District. “Every year we strive to be better than the last. The overarching theme of Camp to Amp is the community showing up for the community. If you would like to see the best parts about North Alabama; community, diversity, creativity and authenticity, join us for Camp to Amp 2023.”

This free festival would not be possible without the support of 16 partners and sponsors including:
