Sparkman’s Vanover Named Coach Of The Year

HARVEST- Sparkman’s Lindsay Vanover has been named the Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 7A Softball Coach of the Year. The second-year coach of the Lady Senators said of her honor, “I’m humbled for the honor. The players and staff made this possible.”

Sparkman finished third in the State Tournament with a 37-14 record.

Vanover’s complete story and the entire ASWA All-State Softball and Baseball Teams will be highlighted on the Madison Record website later this week and will be featured in the June 21 printed edition of the Madison Record.
