Hearne named new executive director of MVP

MADISON – Madison Visionary Partners or MVP has ended its search for an Executive Director with the appointment of Christina Hearne.

A seasoned professional, Hearne has achieved extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, community engagement and organizational development. Most recently, she served as Professional Standards and Education Manager at Huntsville Area Association of REALTORS or HAAR.

At HAAR, Hearne oversaw the processes for arbitration, mediation and code of ethics enforcement and coordinated all continuing education and professional development courses for members. She also managed their largest event, the elev8 Realtor Tech Conference held every two years.

In a previous tenure with HAAR, she served as Director of Administration. In this position, she managed the Professional Development, Governmental Affairs and Communication/ Marketing departments to foster a collaborative environment within the organization.

In between her roles at HAAR, she served as Development and Marketing Director at Village of Promise or VoP. Hearne secured partnerships, sponsorships and grants to support Village of Promise’s $1.1-million operating budget at the time. She effectively managed communications and event coordination, including working as lead for VoP’s largest fundraising events, One Table Huntsville and the Speaker Series.

Hearne also brings program management expertise developed during her time at Leadership Greater Huntsville. She developed and maintained relationships with business and community leaders. She also supervised intense, effective leadership programs and developed a dynamic alumni curriculum in collaboration with dedicated volunteers.

At the University of Alabama, Hearne earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising and graphic design. An active member of her church, she has served as a member of the personnel committee, leadership council and missions committee and as a trustee. Currently, she is co-chair for One Table Huntsville.

She and her husband John are Madison residents. Their son is in third grade, and their daughter is a freshman; both attend Madison City Schools.

Hearne said she is excited about the opportunity to contribute to the mission of Madison Visionary Partners and to support the continued growth of the Madison community. She is eager to leverage her skills and passion for MVP interests.
