MidCity to host Whistlestop Fest this weekend, will benefit EarlyWorks Children’s Museum

Event includes live music, vendors, food trucks and lots of delicious, mouth-watering BBQ

HUNTSVILLE – Whistlestop BBQ Festival is back! MidCity District is partnering with i3 to bring this event to life Oct. 18-19 while also benefiting Earlyworks. Whistlestop will be held 3-11 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. to midnight on Saturday.

Guests can expect delicious BBQ tastings, People’s Choice BBQ competition, food trucks and other food options, BBQ vendors, artists, and artisans, a tailgate zone for football fans, and live music with Caleb Mills, 5ive O’ Clock Charlie, Element XI, Pine Hill Haints, Mustache The Band.

Leftover Salmon will be headlining Saturday night starting at 4 p.m. before the Billy Strings concert.

Originating in 2001, WhistleStop BBQ Festival has become a Rocket City tradition and is wellknown and loved by locals and BBQ lovers across the region.
