First Annual Semper Fi Riders Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade set for Nov. 2

Registration is a new unwrapped toy valued at $20

MADISON – The Marine Corps Reserve Center and the Semper Fi Riders are hosting the 1st Annual Semper Fi Riders Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Clayton E. Moneymaker American Legion Post 237, 2900 Drake Ave. SW in Huntsville. The parade will start at 11 a.m. and end at Redstone Harley Davidson, 15100 State HWY 20 in Madison. The Madison County Sheriff Department will provide a police escort for the parade.

Registration is a new unwrapped toy valued at $20. Toys and cash donations will be collected by the Marines at Redstone Harley Davidson after the parade.  All proceeds will benefit the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program to support local families.

Participants can enter the “Best Christmas Decorated Motorcycle Contest” for a chance to win a $100 gift card from Redstone Harley Davidson.  Music, prizes, and food for purchase (proceeds to Toys for Tots) will be available at Redstone Harley Davidson.

The Huntsville Toys for Tots Campaign supports Madison, Limestone, Marshall and Jackson Counties. Families requesting support or businesses and individuals wanting to donate a toy can contact Staff Sergeant Timothy McCollum at (256) 513-9419 or visit the Huntsville Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Center at 102 Research Blvd, Madison Alabama 35758.

Registration for support continues through Oct. 26.  Toys are being collected now through Dec. 11. More information can be found at www.huntsville-al.toysfortots.org.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATIONS: The Semper Fi Riders is a Veteran run non-profit corporation that serves and supports our local community by advancing the awareness of the needs and contributions of America’s veterans, their families, and children’s organizations.

Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Mission: The basic mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas.
