Sounds of the Stadium to focus on season’s shows by James Clemens Band and auxiliaries

MADISON – An out-of-the-ordinary and entertaining evening will unfold for the 13th annual Sounds of the Stadium, featuring the seasonal shows and music by James Clemens High School Marching Band and its auxiliaries.

This popular event on Nov. 7 opens at 6:30 p.m. in James Clemens Auditorium.

“Sounds of the Stadium is a highly energetic indoor extravaganza with the band, color guard, dance team and drumline performing all of the marching band and competition band’s tunes and routines,” Julie Thomason said. Thomason is Ticket Coordinator for Sounds of the Stadium.

“It is a very unique event and definitely a crowd favorite. You will not want to miss this event,” Thomason said.

Members of the audience are welcome to attend the Silent Auction with quality merchandise and helpful services. In addition, a dessert reception in the cafeteria will offer delicious cookies, cake and pastries for the audience to enjoy.

“Our Sounds of the Stadium event is unique in that in brings the Friday night football atmosphere inside to the beautiful James Clemens auditorium,” James Clemens Director of Bands Keith Anderson. “The audience gets to experience the football stands’ tunes, cheers and singalongs in an ‘up close and personal’ way.”

“Plus, hearing the halftime show and competition show in the auditorium is something everyone loves,” Anderson said. Brian Sims is the Assistant Band Director at James Clemens.

“I think the students have always enjoyed the Sounds of the Stadium concert because it’s something different we do than most other bands they know of,” Anderson said. “And just like the audience gets to see them up close, they get to be closer to their audience and that’s always a thrill.”

Tickets are $10. To buy tickets, individuals can scan the QR code that appears on fliers for the event or visit www.gofan.co/event/1980582?schoolId=AL50309. Tickets will be available for purchase in advance until midnight on Nov. 6.

In addition, a limited number of tickets will be available at the door (by cash or card) on a first-come basis.
