Beltone enhances the season with ‘Hear for the Holidays’ giveaway

MADISON – During this holiday season, Madison Beltone Hearing Aid Center is dedicated to spreading cheer and enhancing the lives of those with hearing loss. Beltone can help individuals to cherish moments with family and friends.

Madison Beltone Hearing Aid Center has kicked off the “Hear for the Holidays” hearing aid giveaway. In partnership with the Beltone Hearing Care Foundation, a 501(c)3 charity, Madison Beltone Hearing Aid Center is inviting nominations for deserving individuals in the community who could benefit from a free set of Beltone hearing aids.

To qualify, nominees must complete a complimentary hearing screening at Madison Beltone Hearing Aid Center and have a minimum hearing loss of 25 dB or decibels. To submit a nomination, visit Beltone’s 2024 Hear for the Holidays program at about.beltone.com/hearfor- the-holidays-2024.

After opening nominations on Nov. 1, Beltone’s program will continue through Dec. 31.

“Hearing is our connection to the world in a way that no other sense can replicate. At Madison Beltone Hearing Aid Center, we are dedicated to improving hearing for everyone,” Zach Watson said. Watson is owner of Madison Beltone Hearing Aid Center and is a Board-Certified Practitioner in Hearing Instrument Sciences.

“While we serve our patients daily, we understand that many still lack access to essential care. That’s why we’re proud to participate in the ‘Hear for the Holidays’ initiative with the Beltone Foundation,” Watson said.

Recognized by “Newsweek” as one of America’s “Best of the Best in Hearing Care” for 2024, Madison Beltone Hearing Aid Center invites community nominations for its December hearing aid giveaway through the Beltone Hearing Care Foundation.

During the holidays, hearing concerns gain heightened importance:

• Enhanced communication — Hearing enhances communication and strengthens relationships and thus makes gatherings more enjoyable and inclusive.

• Enjoyment of holiday music — Hearing allows individuals to appreciate festive music and carols, adding to the holiday spirit.

• Participation in traditions – The ability to hear enables full participation in holiday traditions, such as storytelling and games.

• Emotional well-being — Good hearing contributes to overall happiness and reduces feelings of isolation during the festive season.

• Safety awareness Hearing helps individuals stay aware of their surroundings, ensuring safety in busy holiday environments.

In related news, Madison City Council recently eliminated sales tax on the sale of hearing aids in the City of Madison. Madison is the first city in the state to move to support the residents who rely on hearing aids.

Madison Beltone Hearing Aid Center is located at 151 Hughes Road in Hughes Plaza, across from Madison City Hall and next to State Farm.

For anyone who hasn’t had an annual hearing screening yet, Madison Beltone is pleased to also offer free screenings to the community this holiday season. “To schedule an appointment, please visit our Beltone Hearing Care Center in Madison website at beltone.com/ en-us/location/al/madison/ 0050749003, or call us at 256-722-5299,” Watson said.

Beltone has been recognized by “Newsweek” and “USA TODAY” as one of “America’s Best Hearing Retailers” and has been named as one of “Forbes’” “Best Employers.”

Beltone has been a trusted leader in the hearing care industry for more than 80 years, providing reliable, affordable and advanced hearing aids. With approximately 1,200 locations nationwide, local offices provide personalized service, and Beltone’s hearing care professionals receive extensive training to provide the best care to our patients.

“Join us in making a difference in someone’s life this holiday season,” Watson said. Individuals should submit giveaway nominations by Dec. 31, 2024, by visiting Beltone’s 2024 Hear for the Holidays program at about.beltone. com/hear-for-the-holidays- 2024.
