MA baseball celebrates seven seniors who sign for scholarships

MADISON – The Madison Academy Mustangs baseball team in 2025 will be headed up by seven seniors who recently signed scholarships to play collegiate baseball after graduating from the Mustangs’ program next Spring. The “Super Seven” gathered at the school for a signing ceremony unlike the private educational facility has hosted before.

David Pressley, head coach of the Mustangs and “Super Seven,” said he was looking forward to the completion of their time at Madison Academy and each should have a wonderful career beyond high school.

Noah Jarrell (Right-handed, Infield)- A transfer from James Clemens has shown great work ethic in his limited time with the Mustangs and has fit in nicely with the program. He signed with Lawson State CC.

Tyler Holder (Infield)- Has battled through injuries the past two seasons but is being looked at to bolster the 2025 program. He signed with Barton College in Wilson, N.C.

Jack Doyle (Right-handed Pitcher)Three-year varsity pitcher who tossed 109 innings with 132 strikeouts. All-Area in 2023 and All-Area Honorable Mention in 2022. He served on the Spiritual Formation Team. Signed with UAH.

Myles Johnson (Outfield)- Last season led the Mustangs with 11 doubles, 3 homers and 25 RBIs. He also pitched. All-Area pitcher and outfielder in 2024.

Tee Foster (Infield)- Three-year starter playing in 122 games including 45 games as a freshman where he had 11 extra base hits and 24 RBIs. Since arriving, he has mustered 86 runs scored while earning All-Area honors in 2022, 2023 and 2024, and Pitcher of the Year Award in 2024. He signed with Montevallo.

Shane Duke (Right-handed Pitcher)Coming off a surgery, he had 13 innings pitching in relief with 18 strikeouts. He also played first base and at the plate had 7 doubles, 3 homeruns and 18 RBIs. He signed with Shelton State CC.

Gabe Evers (Outfield)- Played in 35 games for the Mustangs as a junior and was named Defensive Player of the Year. Signed with Limestone University located in Gaffney, S.C.
