Upcoming road races and training opportunities in ‘25

MADISON – Runners as athletes are dedicated to their sport and their devotion to enjoy their outings comes from professional guided training programs which mold an athlete and properly prep each of those in a healthy manner. The numerous running races in the new year can be properly attacked by going through an array of programs setup by Fleet Feet of Huntsville-Madison, which are designed to assist each runner and escort each athlete to achieve their goal of success.

Training programs are loved by the participants because of its social aspect of training with a group. Each participant trains alongside a coach and are asked to have accountability of their own trek to success. Fleet Feet offers these training segments on an individual training session or for all the programs throughout the lineup of sessions set in place.

Here is a list of many of the training programs in conjunction with designated races throughout 2025: 2025 Winter Warrior – Conducted Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. at Fleet Fett-Huntsville. Fee is $100. Goal Race – Mardi Gras 5K; Spring Half-Marathon – Madison/ Huntsville- Conducted Tuesdays (8:30 a.m./6:00 p.m.) and Saturdays (7:00 a.m.). Fee is $200. Goal Race – local Spring half-marathons including those scheduled for Atlanta, Knoxville, Chattanooga Tuscaloosa and more. 12-week program; No Boundaries 5K Beginner – Begins March 31. Conducted Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 7:00 a.m. in Madison and Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 p.m. in Huntsville. Fee is $150. Goal Race – Big Run 5K as part of the Cotton Row Run in May; Spring 10K Training – Begins March 17. Conducted Mondays and Wednesdays (6:00 p.m.) and Saturdays (7:00 a.m.) in Madison, Tuesdays and Thursdays (6:00 p.m.) and Saturdays (7:00 a.m.) in Huntsville. Fee is $150. Goal Race- your favorite 10K race; TRI 101- Begins May 13. Conducted Tuesdays (6:00 p.m.) and some Saturdays. Fee is $225. Goal Race – Huntsville Sprint Triathlon, August 2. This is a beginner’s triathlete program; Summer Speed and Distance Training- Begins May 31. Weekly training Saturdays (7:00 a.m.) with speed work Tuesdays (6:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m.). Fee $150. This is a 10-week program;

Tri 201 – Begins June 2- Fleet Feet Huntsville. Conducted Mondays (6:00 p.m.) and some Saturdays. Fee is $250. Goal Race- Rocketman Olympic Triathlon, Aug. 24. This is for the triathlete ready participant.
