Arrest made in connection with deadly gas station shooting in Harvest on Saturday

HARVEST – The Madison County Sheriff’s Department confirmed a shooting investigation in the Harvest area over the weekend.

According to Brent Patterson with the Sheriff’s Department, a male suspect entered the Circle K at the corner of Harvest Road and Old Railroad Bed Road and shot and killed a female clerk on Saturday night.

MCSO stated Jahree Daiquan Williams, age 21, was arrested in connection with the murder of Taylor Boldosser North, age 26. According to Patterson, when sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene, they discovered an unresponsive female who had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim, North, was an employee of the business on duty at the time of the incident. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to a statement from MCSO, witnesses on the scene reported that a black male subject entered the business, walked up to the counter, and shot the clerk. Sheriff’s deputies located the suspect a short distance from the business, and he was subsequently transported to CID for questioning. Williams was arrested and charged with Murder and booked into the Madison County Jail Facility.

Sheriff Kevin Turner expressed heartfelt condolences to the North family, saying, “We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with the North family during this incredibly difficult time.”
