ATHENS – Robby Parker has accepted the position of Head of School at Lindsay Lane Christian Academy in Athens.

Parker will start his work at the end of the 2024-2025 school year. Parker will succeed Steve Murr, who will step down after 12 years of service.

During his time as superintendent, MCS earned “A” ratings on state-issued Report Cards each year and was recognized as Alabama’s top producer of National Merit Semifinalists.

He graduated from the University of Alabama’s Superintendents’ Academy. He was named 2014 Alabama PTA Principal of the Year and the 2019-2020 Outstanding Superintendent by the Alabama Parent Teacher Association or PTA.
