Madison native competing to become Daymond John’s “Entrepreneur of Impact”

Daymond John is an investor on the ABC reality television series Shark Tank

FLORENCE – Katie Rolf Terry, the passionate founder of The Shoals Doula LLC, Madison native, and graduate of Bob Jones High School, has made it to the quarterfinals of Daymond John’s highly anticipated Entrepreneur of Impact Contest. The winner will receive $25,000, a mentoring session with Daymond John, a spread in Forbes magazine, and more.

Katie Terry, a certified doula and maternal health advocate, has dedicated her career to empowering her community through comprehensive, compassionate, and culturally competent support during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.

As the maternal health crisis in the U.S. continues to affect many communities, Katie’s work as a doula provides critical support and education that empowers families to make informed decisions about their healthcare. Her efforts align with her unwavering belief in the importance of accessible, personalized care for all.

“I am beyond grateful to have made it this far in the Entrepreneur of Impact contest,” said Terry. “This competition is a platform for entrepreneurs who are committed to driving change in their communities and beyond. My mission has always been to provide the best support possible and this contest offers an amazing opportunity to further amplify that work.”
