The Market at MidCity returns for seventh season

HUNTSVILLE – The Apollo Coalition and MidCity District Association announced the return of The Market at MidCity, a vibrant weekly event showcasing local farmers, bakers, and artisans. Celebrating its seventh season, the Market features more than 40 vendors each week and offers produce, baked goods, plants, and much more.

The Market will be open every week from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. from Sunday, March 16, 2025, to November 9, 2025. Located at The Camp, 5909 University Drive, Huntsville, AL, the market allows visitors to shop locally from regional producers and creators.

Visitors to The Market at MidCity can expect a lively atmosphere filled with music, shopping, and family-friendly activities. The market aims to support local businesses and provide a unique shopping experience that highlights the best of what the North Alabama region has to offer.

“We are thrilled to bring The Market at MidCity to life again this year,” said Lindsey Patillo Keane, Executive Director of the MidCity District Association. “Our goal is to create a space where the community can come together, support local producers, and enjoy a day out with family and friends.”

The Market at MidCity is committed to supporting farmers and producers from the area only, ensuring that all products are sourced within a 150-mile radius. The market also features a popular Holiday Market on November 9, 2025.

This year, the Market is presented in partnership with the Apollo Coalition, a 501c3 nonprofit organization located at MidCity. The Coalition focuses on nurturing entrepreneurs and small businesses and raises funds to support the Market, which serves as a business incubator for small food purveyors from across the area.

“The Market at MidCity is the perfect example of how to support local self-starters,” shared Joanna White, Managing Director of the Apollo Coalition. “Every Sunday, MidCity becomes the ideal place to shop local and build community. The Apollo Coalition is proud to be a part of creating an environment for small businesses to thrive.”
