Douthitt and Cole named to UAH College of Business Top 20

HUNTSVILLE – The UAH College of Business announced its Top 20 program recipients for 2025 and UAH Softball’s Alexa Douthitt and UAH Women’s Lacrosse’s Sarah Cole were honored in the program.

Douthitt, a Bob Jones High School grad, has made strides in integrating both pursuits to make for a successful upcoming career in sports management and has been a member of the UAH women’s softball team for three years. She maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA and is majoring in business management.

With UAH softball, Douthitt has earned NFCA Second Team All-American honors, along with NFCA and D2CCA First Team All-South Region plaudits. She was also GSC Co-Player of the Year and First Team All-GSC in 2024.

Cole is a finance and accounting major at UAH who strives for greatness while balancing lacrosse, academics and business-related ventures. Cole is entering her senior year and has made the President’s List every semester, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.

On the field, Cole has been an All-GSC performer for three consecutive years and was a CSC Second Team Academic All-American and IWLCA Academic Honor Roll member.

The Top 20 program recognizes extraordinary undergraduate and graduate students from The UAH College of Business. These outstanding business students distinguish themselves in areas such as academic excellence, professional career development, exemplary leadership, community service, overcoming adversity, entrepreneurship, or making a substantial positive impact on others on, or off, campus.
