Entertainment stage will host several great performers

Three acts will fill the street festival with plenty of music

MADISON – A favorite tradition at the Madison Street Festival or MSF is the Entertainment Stage with live music from local musicians.

‘Thrilled’ is the best word to describe MSF President Crystal McBrayer’s thoughts on the bands and musicians for the 2025 festival. She is pleased “to have these bands coming to help us make our 43rd festival so special.”

“Who doesn’t love a good LIVE band? Make sure to save the date – Oct. 4, 2025,” McBrayer said.

Gorrio

The first act from 10:30 a.m. to noon will be Gorrio. He was born in Lima, Peru and then raised in Miami, Fla. His website promises Gorrio will bring passion, energy and love.

Gorrio describes his sound as “a pop genre with Latino flavor. Driven with a classical guitar sound, hip-hop beats and romantic lyrics.” Gorrio’s music will encourage audience members to stand up and dance.

Gorrio’s current work includes the album, “Sophisticated Marmalade,” which includes these other charts: “Dank Snugs,” “Honey Bee” and “Alive.”

“I’ve also been exploring my Latino side in other songs and now producing beats with synth sounds influenced by early 2000’s bands. Thank you,” he said.

The Unorthodocs

From 12:30 to 2 p.m., The Unorthodocs will command the stage. Organized in 2013, The Unorthodocs are a group of orthopedic surgeons, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who work at The Orthopaedic Center or TOC. These professionals share a love of music and entertaining.

In addition, The Unorthodocs will welcome an individual to the stage — Roberta Silva, a mainstay in the Huntsville music scene for 40 years. Due to busy schedules, this band only plays a few times each year, but audiences always enjoy the night when they do.

Lana White and The Heights

Next, from 2:30 to 4 p.m., Lana White and The Heights will take the MSF Entertainment Stage. A singer-songwriter, Lana White has been writing, recording and performing in Huntsville for more than 10 years.

Lana has released five solo albums. She has two releases with her new band, The Heights. In 2024, she released a six-song EP, “Be My Own Sunshine.”

This year, Lana White and The Heights released a 10-song, full-length album titled “Storms & Spells.” Currently, the band is performing and promoting this release throughout fall and winter. Follow them on social media and streaming services.

The Entertainment Stage’s location is the south parking lot of Madison Methodist Church, 127 Church Street.
