Huntsville International Airport opens 3 new restaurants
Three new food and beverage options opened at Huntsville International Airport on Tuesday, June 9, marking the completion of the food and beverage renovations.
The previous quick service option was replaced with two new offerings: Everbowl and Rocket City Express.
Everbowl is a health-conscious chain serving açai bowls and smoothies. This is their first location in an airport.
“Everbowl is craft superfood. We specialize in vegan superfood bases, such as, açai, papaya, blue magic, and more. We also have smoothies, toast, sips, including lemonades, coffees, and matchas,” said Everbowl Training and Special Operations Manager Hailey Coffman
Rocket City Express offers quick bites of standard, American food. Their breakfast menu retains many of the items on the previous quick service restaurant’s menu such as breakfast sandwiches, coffees, and smoothies. Their grab and go section offers packaged, pre-made salads and sandwiches and bottled drinks. Rocket City Express will also serve lunch and dinner.
Rocket City Bar & Grill replaces the former Beer Garden restaurant with a brand new kitchen and menu that includes salads, burgers, sandwiches, wings, cocktails, and a kid’s menu. It will also offer live music.
The renovations brought updated seating to all of the dining areas and added booth style seating with charging ports.
The restaurants are open before the first flight of the day until after the last flight of the day.
Airport travelers can expect to see more renovations underway through 2027. Pre-security, the TSA checkpoint line is currently being expanded, and in the terminal, the retail store, ceiling, and gate seating are undergoing refurbishment.
