Huntsville Hospital, Madison Hospital named a U.S. News Best Regional Hospital for 2026-27

MADISON – Huntsville Hospital, along with Madison Hospital, has once again earned national recognition, with U.S. News & World Report naming the organization a 2026-2027 Best Regional Hospital.

The honor places Huntsville Hospital among approximately 500 hospitals nationwide recognized for delivering high-quality care across a broad range of medical specialties, procedures and conditions.

U.S. News’ evaluation helps patients make informed decisions about where to receive care using objective measures such as patient outcomes, nursing quality, patient experience and preventable complications.

Last year alone, Huntsville Hospital cared for more than 52,800 admitted patients, performed more than 48,300 surgeries and cared for nearly 188,000 emergency department patients, underscoring the critical role the hospital plays in caring for one of the nation’s fastest-growing communities.

Data from Madison Hospital and Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children are included in Huntsville Hospital’s rankings. All three facilities are part of the nonprofit, community-based Huntsville Hospital Health System (HH Health).
