    Madison Volleyball Skills Clinic 2002
    Madison Volleyball Skills Clinic 2002 will be held every Tuesday and Wednesday starting June 4 and ending July 31. The exception will be June 25 has been moved to June 27. The time will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for sixth and seventh graders; 7 to 8:30 p.m. for eighth and ninth graders. The cost is $45. Make checks payable to Chris Coppens.     Charlotte's Web
    Madison Children's Theatre will present Charlotte's Web at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on June 14 and 15 at the Von Braun Center Playhouse.     Scottish Festival and Highland Games
    The second annual Scottish Festival and Highland Games will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Dublin Park in Madison. For more information, call 837-9596 or 883-1274 or go on-line at www.tvss.org.
    June 15-16
    Tour of gardens
    Two Madison gardens will be featured in The Huntsville Botanical Garden's "A Tour of Gardens with a Personal Touch" on June 15-16. The event will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. both days. Admission is by ticket only and the gardens may be visited in any order on either one of the two days. Tickets can be purchased either day at any of the gardens on the tour or at the Botanical Garden prior to the event. Admission is $15 and garden members receive a $2 discount. The gardens of Ed and Karen Voelker at 115 Lake Point Circle in Edgewater, and the gardens of Robert and Nancy Thibodeau at 482 Rainbow Drive, will be featured in Madison. The other three gardens are in Huntsville at 1523 Ward Ave., 303 Ormond Circle, and 5832 Jones Valley Drive. The Huntsville Botanical Garden is located at 4747 Bob Wallace Ave.

    Boys Basketball Camp
    The sixth annual Dublin Park Boys Basketball Camp will be held on June 17-21 at Dublin Park. This is for ages 7-16. The time will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The fee is $50. For more information, call 772-9300.

    Alice in Wonderland
    The Madison Community Chorus will present Alice in Wonderland at 7 p.m. on July 20-21 and again at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on June 22 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville. Tickets are $18 for adults and $12 for students and seniors. A $2 discount is available for corporate sponsors. An additional 10 percent discount is available for groups.     One World Soccer Camp
    One World Soccer Camp will be held at Palmer Park in Madison on June 24-28 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is for ages 8-16. The fee is $125. For more information, call Scott Taylor at 656-1793.

    Piano Camp
    Piano Camp Summer 2002 will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on June 24-27 at AB Stephens in Huntsville. The camp will be held for children ages 8 – 12 years. The cost is $49 per session and enrollment is limited. This is a basic introduction to the keyboard. Students will learn how to play right-hand melodies with the accompanying left-hand chord. Works of different classical composers will be introduced as students hear popular selections of Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, etc. For more information, call Dawn Johnson at AB Stephens at 880-1234 to enroll.

    Sharing and Caring for Kids Basketball Camp
    The Sharing and Caring for Kids Basketball Camp with Kelly McCarty and Antonio McDyess will be held on June 26-28 at Dublin Park. The time will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $100 and includes lunch and a T-shirt. For more information, call Kelly McCarty at 722-9029.

    I Love America
    Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville will present "I Love America" on June 30 through July 4.
    The doors will open one hour early and a pre-show will start 30 minutes before the presentation. The times are 6 p.m. on June 30; 7 p.m. on July 1-3; 2 p.m. on July 4. Whitesburg Baptist Church is located on Whitesburg Drive in south Huntsville.     Benefit dance
    A ballroom dance with dance show to benefit The March of Dimes will be held Sunday, July 14 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Marriott in Huntsville at the Space and Rocket Center. Tickets are $15 and $5 from each ticket will be donated to The March of Dimes. There will be hors devourers and a cash bar. The Kinesthetic Cue Dance Club and the Rocket City Dance Club will host the event. For ticket information, call 464-8477 or 534-4994.

    MLS (Major League Soccer) Camp
    The MLS (Major League Soccer) Camp will be held on July 15-19. Ages: (5-6) 8:30 to 10 a.m.- Fee: $59 – includes T-shirt; Ages: (7-10) 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. – Fee: $95 – includes T-shirt; Ages (11 and older) 4 to 8 p.m. – Fee: $108 – includes T-shirt.     Snag Golf Camp

    Basketball shooting camp
    The basketball staff at Bob Jones High School will conduct a shooting camp from 10 a.m. to noon July 22-24 in the high school gymnasium. The camp will teach the fundamentals of shooting the basketball. It will be open to ages 6-15.     Girls Basketball Camp
    The sixth annual Dublin Park Girls Basketball Camp will be held on July 22-25 at Dublin Park. Ages: (7 and 8) 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.; Ages: (9-11) 10 to 11:30 a.m.; Ages: (9-11) noon to 1:30 p.m. The fee is $40. For more information, call 772-9300.

    Brown bag book discussion
    A brown bag book discussion is held at the Madison Public Library on the first Monday of each month in the meeting room at the library. Everyone is invited and welcomed to bring their lunch while discussing the newest book selection. For more information, call 461-0046.
    La Leche League
    La Leche League helps mothers worldwide to breast feed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement and information to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of baby and mother. The night group meets on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Mountain View Baptist Church, 1413 McClung Ave. in Huntsville. The day group meets the second Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. in Room FO13 in the basement of the Faith building at Asbury United Methodist Church – 980 Hughes Road in Madison.     Madison Senior Citizen Center swimming
    Madison seniors can swim at the Madison Senior Citizen Center at 1282 Hughes Road. The pool is open from 9 to 10 a.m., Monday through Thursday. A water aerobics class is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9 to 10 a.m. For more information, contact the Madison Senior Citizen Center at 830-1576.
    Madison Garden Club
