By Staff
The Madison Rotary Club has named its City Employee of the Year and, for the first time, a Firefighter of the Year and a Police Officer of the Year have also been named. City Engineering Contracts Manager Susan Klopfenstein was picked as the City Employee of the Year. Bobby Phillips was chosen as Firefighter of the Year and Mark Bray was chosen as Police Officer of the Year. Each one received a plaque and a monetary award to acknowledge their efforts. Honorees are: (L-R) Susan Klopfenstein, Bobby Phillips and Mark Bray. Other city employees who recently received recognition for longevity are Beth Bellomy, city court, 15 years; James Chandler, engineering, 10 years; Lillie Causey, finance, 20 years; and Robert Lindner, public works, 15 years.
