Madison residents named to Samford’s Dean’s List

Some area residents have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Samford University in Birmingham. They are:

Ashley N. Williams of Madison, a senior Sociology major. Williams is the daughter of Mike Williams.

Casey E. Moore of Madison, a sophomore. Moore is the daughter of Amy and Jim Moore.

Chrislyn J. Morse of Madison, a senior Early Childhood, Elementary and Special Education major. Morse is the daughter of Robert and Robert Morse.

Ivy L. Corron of Madison, a sophomore Psychology major. Corron is the daughter of Ned Corron.

Meghan A. Laury of Madison, a junior History major. Laury is the daughter of Betsy and Jim Laury.

Shelby E. Lambert of Madison, a freshman Nursing major. Lambert is the daughter of Mark Lambert.

Sarah T. Pickens of Madison, a freshman. Pickens is the daughter of Melanie and Timothy Pickens.

Sarah E. Simmons of Madison, a senior Exercise Science major. Simmons is the daughter of Teresa and John Simmons.

Thomas H. Espy IV of Madison, a junior International Relations major. Espy  is the son of Hal Espy.

To qualifiy for the honor, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. The Dean’s List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.
