Madison Chamber hires new executive director

The Madison Chamber of Commerce has selected Susie Masotti as its new executive director.

Masotti

Masotti comes to the Chamber with extensive experience in corporate event planning, project management and fundraising experience most recently as Vice President of the Nashville Predators, where  she was member of a 15-person start-up team that created the Nashville Predators organization in 1997.

Her overall responsibility within the organization was for premium seating and sponsorship account management and customer service.  Previous to that, Masotti served as Director of Sponsor Services for the Charlotte Hornets.

“We are thrilled to have Susie join our team at the Madison Chamber.  I believe she will add a new vibrancy to the mission of our organization and I look forward to the exciting new ideas she can bring to our member businesses,”  said Lori King-Taylor, MCC executive consultant.

Masotti will be moving her family from Nashville to Madison to begin her new position on November 1.

“My family and I are thrilled to be moving to such a vibrant, growing community and getting to know many new friends and colleagues,” Masotti said. “Both small and large businesses are the life blood of any community, and I hope to further the cause of growing the Madison family of businesses.  I’m looking forward to listening to and working with the business community in Madison.  I hope to bring fresh ideas to merge with traditional programs at the Madison Chamber of Commerce.”

As executive director, Masotti responsibilities will include being an advocate for the Chamber vision and create awareness of the chamber and it’s members, improve programming and drive membership, work with the board and appropriate staff to develop an annual tactical plan for achieving key Chamber goals and objectives, implement the strategic plan,  and lead and develop the Madison Chamber of Commerce staff team.
