Herbert J. King; Nov. 4, 2011

Herbert J. King, 73, of Madison, passed away Friday, Nov. 4.

Mr. King was a member of Madison Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Howell King and Hazel Wimberly King Simmons.

Survivors include wife, Mary Ella King; son, Jason King of Harvest; sister-in-law, Kathey Fox of Huntsville; brother-in-law, Bob B. Fox of Charlotte, N.C.; two uncles and numerous cousins.

Visitation was from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service followed at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Mike Winkler and Gayle Crowe officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery, Inc.
