Asbury Thrift store holding toy sale

Asbury Thrift Store will be holding a special toy sale Monday, Dec. 5 for families in need.

Asbury Thrift Store will be holding a special toy sale Monday, Dec. 5 for families in need.

The sale will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

“It’s to help people who have kids and may need a little extra help this holiday season,” said Ann Pospicil, general manager.

Some of the toys up for sale are used, but in “good condition.”

Pospicil said they do have a variety of new toys for sale at low prices.

The store had a similar sale two weeks ago, but received an influx of toys afterward and decided to have the special sale one last time.

“We have a lot of families who have contributed the toys that don’t use them anymore,” she said.

Refreshments will also be served during the sale.

“We really appreciate the donors,” Pospicil added.

Store employees ask parents to not bring children to the sale.

Regular store hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed on Sundays.
