MADISON – The Madison Newcomers and Neighbors Club, a Women’s Social Organization will meet on Thursday, Feb. 12 at the Hogan Family YMCA, 130 Park Square Lane (off Hughes Rd) in Madison. Social time begins at 9:45 a.m. with the meeting starting promptly at 10 a.m.

The speaker for February is Jim Chamberlain from Madison Greenways & Trails, Inc.,a non-profit organization representing the interests of people wanting greater access to walking and biking trails and paths; people concerned with preservation of natural resources and wetlands, wildlife habitat and scenic views; and people interested in preserving access to historical sites, in land use planning and in community enhancement.

There will be an optional lunch after the meeting at a local restaurant.

Membership is open to all women that live in Madison and the surrounding area, whether they are new to the community or lifelong residents.
