Madison Police arrest three for multiple child abuse charges

Madison police detectives served felony warrants on three suspects for charges ranging from child abuse to the sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12.

Detectives concluded the investigation into these allegations by serving the arrest warrants at approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 at a residence on Allen Street in Madison. Mary Katherine Ard, 40; Thomas Jefferson Ard, 48; and Jason Lee Clanton, 33;were arrested and transported to the Madison County Jail where they will be held pending bond.

At the time of arrest, Jason Lee Clanton was found to be in possession of marihuana and a controlled substance.

The victims’ information will not be released due to the ages.
