Madison Subway robbed at knife point

A man robbed the Subway on Hughes Road in Madison just before 9 p.m. Friday.

According to Madison Police a man walked in and ordered a sub sandwich.

When it was time to pay at the register, the man pulled out a knife and demanded money.

The clerk called for help, and another employee came from the back to see what was going on, the crook grabbed the sandwich and took off.

Police called in a K-9 unit to search for the thief.

No arrests have been made at this time, and no one was injured
