7K Madison voters getting new registration cards

New voter information card.

Beginning Friday, June 29, approximately 7,000 city of Madison voters who reside in Madison County will be receiving new voter registration cards.

If you are one of those 7,000 residents, city officials are advising to not throw the new cards away. The new card will indicate that you have two different places to vote. The poll location at the top of the card is where you will go to vote for any county, state or federal election.

The bottom voting location is your voting location for municipal elections, the August mayor/council election.
