Donald H. Maner; Aug. 10, 2012

Donald H. Maner, 43, of Madison passed away Friday, Aug. 10.

Donnie graduated from Huntsville High School in 1987 and was a great athlete. He enjoyed reading and writing music; he loved all music, especially the guitar. Donnie loved knowledge, life, and his family very much. He was a free spirit and never met a stranger.

Survivors include his wife, Gayle Maner; daughter, Katherine Maner , both of Madison; parents, Charlie and Carole Maner, of Hampton Cove; brother, John Alan Maner, Sr. and wife, Kayron, of Huntsville; father and mother -in-law, Gaylen and Donna Bush, of Madison; sister-in-law, Tamera Jones and husband, Michael, of Ashburn, Virginia; niece, Ashden Maner of Huntsville; nephews, John Alan Maner, Jr. of Huntsville, Jack Jones, Peter Jones and Colton Jones, all of Ashburn, Va.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 14 at 4 p.m. at Laughlin Service Chapel with Pastor John Dees officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association .
