Amielia Cate Platt was born Aug. 19, 2012 at Women and Children’s Hospital to Doug and Ellery Platt of Madison.

She weighed seven pounds nine ounces and measured 19 inches.

Grandparents are Peter and Terry Vitiello of Harvest; and Doug and Elinor Platt of Sarasota, Fla.

Great-grandmother is Ruth Hornyak of New Milford, Conn.

Amielia has one older brother, Weston Platt, two.
