Art, antique and accessories dealers now at Jacklyn’s Keepsakes

A mainstay in downtown Madison, Jacklyn’s Keepsakes now also is home to seven dealers in antiques, collectibles, fine art and ceramics.

Owner Jacklyn Zoller has welcomed fellow merchants to join her in business at 108 Main St. The new configuration has a ‘mini-mall’ feel and is attracting shoppers to downtown. “The more the merrier,” Zoller said.

Jacklyn’s Keepsakes offers fine gifts, Fenton glass, collectibles and collector dolls. Zoller also sells necklaces, bracelets, rings, antiques, stainless steel kitchen accessories, gadgets and serving pieces.

CWS Interiors’ range of decorative accessories and gifts includes vases, trays, containers, wall decor, frames, artificial fruits and vegetables, finials, planters, lamps and accent bowls, owner Cindi Sanderson said.

“A line of whimsical towels is very popular,” Sanderson said. For Christmas, CWS Interiors has ornaments, Santas (including hounds-tooth), stems and owls, this year’s rage.

Antiques at CWS Interiors concentrate on small accent tables, vanity stools, desks, chairs, small servers and chests. “One really interesting piece is a corner shelf made from an old door. The vintage door knob and hinges are still attached,” Sanderson said.

CWS Interiors has a huge selection of 100-percent, made-in-the-USA soy candles with 72-75 hour burn time and intense fragrance, like mulberry mandarin and banana walnut spice. In decorating, Sanderson recommends reflecting the individuals’ personality and “mixing old and new together for a lived-in look.” Visit Facebook/CWS Interiors and click “Like.”

From next door, Madison Station Antiques has a room to feature several pieces from its extensive inventory.

Antique dealers Irby Holland and Judy Starkloff are selling furniture and glassware.

With Madison Station Sundries, Kristy Stewart sells hand-molded pieces from flatware, like spoon rings, bracelets and earrings, along with wooden purses and cigar-box clocks.

Oil and acrylic artist Lisa Riccardi sells her original portraits, paintings and drawings. Tisa Womack markets her pottery as Tisa’s Pieces, which lean to whimsical, eclectic objects in bright colors.

Stewart, Riccardi and Womack formerly were resident artists at 16 Main Gallery.

Christmas Open House will be Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 256-325-5444.
