FCA Ladies Huddle to feature local author as guest speaker

MADISON – The Northeast Alabama Chapter of the Fellowship Christian Athletes (FCA) is hosting its next in a longline of Ladies Huddles on Thursday, April 9 beginning at noon at Rocket City Tavern located in Redstone Gateway on Rideout Road just outside Gate 9 of Redstone Arsenal. Guest speaker will be May Patterson.

A native of Huntsville, Patterson is the author of the book “Seeking a Familiar Face” and a popular blog. She’s also published a Bible study titled “A 40-Day Guide for Seeking God.” She has written for various magazines and websites.

Patterson began writing in response to what she called God’s grace with her mission one to encourage people of all ages to draw closer to God. When not writing or handling speaking engagements, Patterson can be found on a hiking trail, hanging out at an area lake or boarding an airplane traveling to somewhere new as she loves to travel. She has a great love for family, outdoor adventures, good books and blogging at may.patterson. com.

The Huntsville native married Mike, who she called “a dear friend,” 38 years ago and they now have three children and two grandchildren.
