Myrtle R. Tolleson; Jan. 17, 2013

Myrtle R. Tolleson, age 92 of Huntsville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 17.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Boyd Parham Varnado and Emma Roberta Varnado; brothers, Harry Milton Varnado, Cecil Edward Varnado, and George N. Varnado; sisters, Velma Frances Johnson and Mable Elizabeth Dreding; and husband, Howard Zethero Tolleson.

She is survived by her sons, Howard Robinson (Julia) of Hazel Green, and James Edward (Terry) of Madison; daughter, Mae Frances Taylor (Dink) of Killen; and grandchildren, Michael Ray Taylor, Sara Grace Tolleson, and Logan Kelley Tolleson.

Myrtle was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class at Bethany Baptist Church in Huntsville.

A special thanks to Dr. Bartness and the staff on Station 6 at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Home for the great care and love shown to our sweet mother.

Visitation was Sunday, Jan. 20, at 1 p.m. with funeral services following at 2 p.m. at the Madison Chapel Funeral Home. Burial was at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
