HUNTSVILLE — The Madison Chamber of Commerce along with the Huntsville-Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau hosted a Business “After Hours” event for Chamber of Commerce members from Huntsville and Madison on March 7.

The event was a joint partnership and brought out nearly 100 businessmen and women from across the Tennessee Valley to mingle, network and enjoy downtime after normal business hours.

Those who attended enjoyed wine, beverages and an array of finger foods provided by the Visitors Bureau.

Pam Williams with Tourism and Visitors Services said that the Huntsville-Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau was glad to play host to the event.

“We are so honored to be able to host this event,” she said. “I have personally wanted to host this event ever since I became the Madison [representative]. I appreciate the Madison Chamber doing this for us and the turnout was superb.”

Madison Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Susie Masotti thanked Huntsville-Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau for partnering with the Madison Chamber to expand growth in both cities.

“I think what the Huntsville-Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau brings to the Madison Chamber of Commerce is a bigger picture,” Masotti said. “We’re both about the whole area and this a great place to live and it is people like the Bureau that help and attract that attention.”
