MADISON – BB&T Bank in Madison will be offering an event open to the entire public to help build a better partnership with entire community.

BB&T Financial Center leader Kristen Strickland announced that the bank will hold a carnival-like community event on April 20 from 10-2 p.m. at their new branch located at 8441 Hwy 72.

“The LifeSouth blood drive truck will be there for those who wish to donate blood,” Strickland said. “We’ll also have balloon animals, various food and beverages and many more fun activities.”

Strickland said that the bank will be bringing in a large shredder truck for those wishing to shred documents that contain personal information and old outdated documents.

She added that an event like this a great way for the Madison community to bond with the professionals from BB&T and that the bank is always there if the community ever is in need of assistance.

“With this event, we are welcoming the community into our new home,” Strickland said. “Our mission is to make our community a great place to live and to let people know that it is great asset to have the bank a part of the community.”

BB&T also has offices in Madison at their 8857 Madison Blvd location. For more information, email kstrickland@bbandt.com.
