MADISON — The Madison Golf Center will be hosting an annual event that is sure to bring out avid golf fans and players from across the area.

The center will be holding its 17th annual “Try Before You Buy Demo Days” March 15-16. Madison Golf Center owner Cindy Parrish said that the event brings out golf vendors to interact with golfers from around the area.

“We bring eleven of our top vendors out here,” Parrish said. “They’ll have all of their new equipment where people can do down and try all of it out. We’ll also be having specials throughout the store so it’s a great way to kick of the golf season.”

Some of the vendors that will be at the event will include Ping, Calloway Golf, Taylor Made, Titleist and other top name brand golfing equipment specialists.

“There will be every age group out here,” Parrish said. “They’ll be some kids stuff out there where they can be fit for equipment and I generally see more adults than kids but every age group will be represented.”

Parrish said that the event has been a success in years past and brings out thousands from across the Huntsville and Madison areas.

“We usually see around 1,500 people,” she said. “The weather is supposed to be nice this time so this may be our biggest one yet.”
Parrish added that the event, while not geared towards professional golfers, is primarily for those who have golfed consistently but urges beginners to come out to the driving range at Madison Golf Center during regular business hours and fine tune their golf game.

The Madison Golf Center is located at 401 Lime Quarry Rd. in Madison.
