MADISON – Teresa Brammer has new reasons to smile these days.

The owner of the UPS Store along Madison Blvd. in the Publix Shopping Center said she is relieved to have renovations to the franchise.

“There is a lot more room,” Brammer said. “Where we used to have customers come in an use the dead space, now we have that space and more to prepare packages.”

Some of the new features in the store are a packaging area with a “peanut” dispenser, a more organized rack for boxes and a new and improved area for design.

“I would have to say the new packaging area is my favorite addition,” Brammer said. “There is so much space now for larger packages and items. But running a close second would be the design area.”

Customers will now have the opportunity to come back in a more open area of the back of the business and pick their shipping options.

“It is just totally unrecognizable,” Brammer said. “It looks less like a postal office and more like a UPS franchise.”

One other addition to the business was a small office in the very back. For more information on how to ship packages or to see renovations, visit the store at 8000 Madison Blvd d102.
