MADISON – Snow White, Captain Hook and Peter Pan will be among the cast of storybook characters at “Kicking Cancer with Pancakes” on Aug. 24.

The fundraiser breakfast will be held at Fresh Traditions – Port of Madison restaurant in the Best Western Plus Hotel, 9035 Madison Blvd. Guests can choose between two seatings at 8 and 9 a.m. American Cancer Society, through Relay for Life of Madison, will receive the proceeds.

“Every child’s dream is to go to Disney World. Everyone grows up watching Disney movies and makes a connection with many of the wonderful Disney characters,” Debbie Newman said. Newman is Director of Operations with Southern Hospitality Hotel Group.

“Parents have also grown up with Disney. Any chance we get to bring back a part of that wonderful childhood, I think we seize that moment,” Newman said. “What a wonderful way for parents and children to share a piece of Disney close to home. Join us at Fresh Traditions – Port of Madison and have your picture made with one of their favorite characters while benefiting a great cause.”

Guests will enjoy orange juice, bacon, fun and colorful pancakes with syrup and coffee.
